Many years ago, we became involved in the thoroughbred industry because of a relative who was passionate about the breed and racing. (Doesn't everyone?)
First, you are invited to the racetrack, and accept (figuring it will be a nice chance to catch up on old times.)
You watch the horses in the paddock and post parade, hear the clang of the gates opening, and from a long way off you can hear those hooves pounding the dirt.
They round the turn, and the ground trembles under your feet as 10,000 pounds of thoroughbred thunders down the track towards the finish line.
The crowd is cheering and shouting, some people are hugging, some simply throw their tickets to the ground.
You are oblivious to them all. You are still standing there- staring at the finish line. All you can think about is...
"Where can I get one of those magnificent animals!"

Our Stock
We began with great brood stock retired from our own stable. Through careful research, selective breeding, (and a few painful lessons) we now have some of the finest sport horses in Iowa.
